It's been quite a while since I've posted about some holiday variety of Oreos, but with Christmas approaching quickly Nabisco has rolled out Candy Cane Creme Oreos.
The filling is red, but if they really wanted to do it right it should've been like a red/white swirl. Anyway, they taste just like the Mint Oreos, so if you like those then you'll like Candy Cane Oreos.
My first complaint is the terrible packing. All other Nabisco cookies come in a resealable bag, but not these limited edition Oreos. Once you open the packaging it is always open unless you fold it or put one of those "chip clip" gizmos on it.
My second and biggest complaint is where are the Gingerbread Oreos?! Those are awesome and I haven't seen any yet this year.
I think they made these last year, but they were only available in the US. We are a bit behind up here in Canada, but they finally made it this year. They must be the left overs from last year and Nabisco just sent them north of the border. We'll take what we can get.
